Rod has been our go-to guy for carpet cleaning! We used him 20 years ago and when we moved back to Redding in 2014, I was happy he was still in business and he is the only person I will call. After a bottle of red wine broke and spilled wine all over the rug and he was here that afternoon to clean up the mess and the rest of the house. After three years we finally broke down and called in the professionals. Rod and his crew were able to come to our home within two weeks. After the fires, they have been very busy. They arrived right at the scheduled time. Since we had a dog Rod sprayed in areas where there had been accidents. The area they cleaned is around a thousand square feet. They had the entire project done in about two hours. They ended up going over the carpet three times until they were satisfied. Our carpets are beautiful and smell so fresh. Rod and his crew have years of experience and are very professional. I would highly recommend using Preferred Carpet for any and all carpet cleaning needs.
A few weeks prior to Preferred showing up I had spilled some red wine on my white carpet (not sure if spilling the great wine or staining the carpet was worse). My normal carpet guy was too busy to return my call so I contacted Preferred Carpet & Fabric Care. They immediately fit me in their busy schedule and came to the rescue. I would say that the stain came out 98% with the last 2% me just knowing it was there. Truly appreciated their prompt response and attention to detail. We had other rooms in the home cleaned as well and everything was in order. They were careful with furnishings, walls and doors and even left us with some shoe coverings to walk on the carpet while it was drying. I would recommend them anything.

Preferred Carpet has cleaned our floors for many years. They always do a great job getting rid of stains and helping to maintain our carpeting to look good for our customers. We have high traffic with men's work boots on our carpets and Preferred keeps us looking great!
WOW!!!! I have had MANY others clean my carpet, I have a 17 year old "Baby Girl" who can no longer hold her bladder and a newer Chihuahua little boy named "Munchie" who wants to mark everything in the Universe as his own, GRRRRR. Anyway, Rod, the technician, showed up on time, prepared and ready for the job. He explained FULLY what the chemicals and procedures he would use to abate these horrible stains and VOILA! It was done just as he said and in time more quickly than I expected, I am over the MOON! My carpets look new again and the stains are GONE!
