I have used Preferred for years and was naturally unsure of continuing when I heard about the ownership change. But I decided to try them once. The result was great service. If I were rating them on one of those 1-to-5 scales where 5 means "exceeded expectations, they would get my 5.

Absolutely thrilled with this company. We were in a huge bind to get our carpet stretched. The owner came out spent several hours and fixed our carpet all at a very reasonable price. Excellent all away around.
My baby spilled my turmeric latte on the carpet so I had a bright yellow spot. I tried to use oxi clean which made it turn into a big burnt orange spot… but preferred carpet care was able to get it out!! By using a solution and a special light, the turmeric stain came out. Now, there’s only a lightly colored spot where the stain used to be. It’s much less noticeable!
Rod did an outstanding job cleaning carpet which had several dirt paths on areas that were walked on frequently. I was amazed that the stained areas were cleanable & restored. Rod is so knowledgeable, kind and professional. I am so grateful I took a chance & hired him to clean the carpet in our rental that I thought would have to be replaced.

We had a customer track in footprints of grease throughout our office one day. We called Preferred Carpet just before a long holiday weekend. They were so kind to work us into their busy schedule, did a great job, for a great price. This is the second time they have helped us after an incident. The first time was when a bucket of paint was spilled all over our carpet the morning before our grand opening. They appeared at 7:30 AM and cleaned that before we opened. Great customer service!
Mr Rod was friendly and professional. Communication was great and the carpets looked better than when we moved in to this rental. We had a few pet stains he was able to treat and now you'd never know we had pets in the home. Very fair price for the areas cleaned. Thank you!
Our carpet is over 20 years old and yes we need new carpet but not going to happen this year. Did I mention it is also a very light color? We have cleaned it many times of the years and the past few years I have tried cleaning it myself. It used to clean up ok but now my cleaning was just not working. The dark traffic areas and several spots just not coming clean. Rod was out and scrubbed the carpets first and then did the cleaning. I won't say they look brand new but they look pretty darned good. Thank you Rod for my clean carpets.
I have 8 chairs which were badly stained and Rod made no promises. He said it's going to be a tuff job. He did not disappoint us. He's very knowledgeable and has the equipment to assist in making a difficult job easier. The price was reasonable as well. So don't hesitate to call them I am satisfied customer and will use them again.
Second review for Preferred Carpet as we had them return to clean tile. Previously did excellent job w/carpet and spot cleaning upholstery. Deserves a 10 for both jobs! Rod did such a good job cleaning every inch of tile in the house. Lots of it! Looks great!

I've been meaning to leave a positive review about our experience with Rod and Preferred Carpet Cleaning for a few months. I recently came across some of the "before" photos I had shared for our quote and they reminded me of what an amazing job Rod did with cleaning our couch, love seat, and area rugs.
